Treasury Wine Estates came to us and wanted to use Etude as a proof of process. They wanted to create a Shopify Site that would be the base template they would use for all their 20+ brands.

HOME PAGE
TWE wanted a homepage layout that was flexible enough to be reused across their other brands' sites but also still felt tailored to the etude brand and what they had to offer.
• The site's two main uses are shopping for wine and booking events/tastings, so we made those the top CTAS.
• Looking at user sessions, we realized most users were filtering by wine varietal so we made a way finding block directly below the hero to help users more quickly find what they were looking for
• The client also wanted to drive users towards their Wine Club, so we created a block on the homepage that briefly summarized the different clubs and the benefits the user would gain by signing up.


CATEGORY PAGE
The biggest pain point for a lot of wine companies is that it's difficult to distinguish between the products. We worked closely with them to ID the key differentiators and highlight those at this level
• We created taste tags based on a study by Wine Folly, which defines flavor and body to be the top things users are looking for when shopping for wines
• We added vineyard location to help users better identify the vintages they might like from a familiar region.
• We also created straightforward filters to help further isolate the perfect match for the end user.
PRODUCT PAGE
The main goal of the product page was to do a good job of answering all the end users questions. We didn't want the reason they bounced to be because of lack of understanding.
• We created a very clear flavor profile along with the best food-pairing suggestions
• We added an easy way to contact them with any outstanding questions about the products
• We gave detailed information about the vineyard as well as the process specific to that vintage.
• We provided them with any FAQs concerning Shipping & Delivery
